Shouldn't Isekai type of stories have more creativity because there's no limitation bounded by the realistic world?
Why most of them are so formulated?

The animation is mediocre, even the effects look dull
Voice acting is so flat, but they are the famous voice actors / actress... Is there any issue happening in the voice directing?

This is too realistic. For me, I cannot really able to "evaluate a grade" for this story but I definitely not "hate" this story, not really love it also, more like a neutral standpoint.

My philosophic brain has not been this active for a very long time. To me, this story is quite philosophical that keeps me thinking deeply, like a philosopher. Honestly the pace of the story is a bit jumpy and the story itself is quite fragmented, it is more like how the author himself showcasing what he observed and shared to us. Many of the dialogs are pretty resonated but squeezing them into the story feels odd sometimes. Perhaps the author himself is also telling us that he is siding with "the not-gifted" us.

The characters are showcasing various types of people, definitely not the typical anime / fantasy world characters. Too realistic, but the author tries to figure out the motives behind these people even though we won't able to understand all of them. Showcasing different types of survival methods. Most of us might be an average Kouichi, or even worse because we might not even have a dream in the first place.

Chasing the dream is the most deceptive phrase adults luring innocent kids into the realistic black hole. However, it is a great motivation to force a person to move on. We can consider dream as a faith to believe. How the dream come true depending on how a person's decision. As time goes by, the form of that dream may also swift due to various of reasons as well. Do we really need to be persistent on the original dream?

It's a very thought provoking story making me a very hard time to stop thinking the details within the story😂

From a future human, light blob is made of the metal Tungsten. Bamboo is flame retardant but it can be burnt. Still I admire the author’s creativity. Bamboo is cheap, growing fast, which can be mass production easily.

The next step is to figure out how to maintain the electricity without using human’s kinetic energy.

Reality aside, Seiroku is really a great brother full of encouragement. Kids usually have more creativity on ideas so thinking like a child is not a bad thing when it comes to creation. Seiroku then wrote down the execution plans (or at least some hints) for the invention. This is showing how he believed his little brother’s idea . It’s a bit painful to see Seiroku try to prevent talking anything close to be last word to Kihachi even he knew he had high chances not able to survive from the war. He simply wants his brother to be hopeful.

For me, Hikasa-san is always a spotlight to me.
She is always great on performing interesting female characters.

That 佐久間威風 is actually Yanagi's classmate, the world is unexpectedly small in some sense.
This photographer and his past history is a way to showcasing how mentality helps a person to grow.

The battleground between Kouichi and Akari is also very interesting.
Kouichi is finally reach the level that he can stand with Akari equally.

So the house in ED is somewhere in New York. That make so much sense.

Sayuri has a great sense of negotiation. She definitely knows her weapon. I didn't expect that Eren has that much physical to play Parkour.

Speaking of story telling, I would say the pace of this episode is the best by far.

The first word came out of my mind is "selfish" to Eren, but this is not by the negative meaning. She is so dedicated into art and therefore she cannot stand on any little distractions that makes the art piece other than artistic. Maybe "perfectionism" is a better description for Eren.

However, there are so many different circumstances for an artist to produce an art piece. Take Jacobs as an example, he is actually take art as a channel to reach out to his mother.

As an ordinary people like me, the characters really makes me feeling relatable would be Rukawa. It's a character down to earth yet can be seen day by day.
He did mentioned a great one: "different people have their own weapons. It is not cunning at all if you use them. This is more on the way you use them."

Tools are just tools without good use on them. They works great in one situation but not necessary in another situation.
Now this time we can view Kouichi from a very very distinct perspective that he IS indeed growing. This is a little "parental moment" for an audience like me seeing him actually growing. (Well he needs to carry on anyway) Akira is timid due to the high pressure from his father who loves controlling everything. Not everyone can shine him/herself easily unless there is someone understand and give that person a little bit of push. And the scene from a dark window turned to be all the lights coming in. This analogy for Akira and Kouichi's chemistry is simply amazing. But I still give a credit to Rukawa because it's him decide to introduce Kouichi to Sonomiya Company. He has a great sense on choosing "weapon".

Okay this time we are going back to Akari's perspective with a deeper view.
We will NEVER and EVER able to understand these type of people. They may also DO NOT want us to understand them and just leave them alone. Never dare to crave for the level they reached. That IS the difference.
For every ordinary people, that mentality of the character "威風" is actually the one we should be aiming on.

Still, I don't think it's a bad idea for Akari start thinking about the life after 27.

This is actually witnessing how Kouichi is taking the wrong path and failing spectacularly.
We can comment this confidently because we are in the God's prospective.
Every events happened are just a fact but the most important thing is how we deal with it, both physically and mentally.
The Yanagi way is inhumane but that is his way to survive / success. Simply "copy and paste" someone's path won't lead you success.
Life is not that easy and there is always way more going on besides the bright side of that person's path.

To me, Kouichi seems extremely naive and craving for "success" almost pointless to me now. His mindset of success is always caring on how people viewing him or all those meaningless external tokens. He doesn't know how to cherish himself. Being in Yanagi team is more like a double-edged sword, if he could manage to carry on, in fact he could be one of the most successful person ever. However, his core mentality is too fragile that working with Yanagi is simply breaking him.

It's so funny that I don't want to judge anyone's life / thinking decision but this Sayuri is the character who love criticizing others the most.
All the tragic outcomes were due to her arrogance and ignorance. Utilitarianism is indeed a method to lead someone to success (which depends on how that person define "success") but this only works for that person his / herself. You can't force someone to follow your path / mindset. People is willing to change only when they want to change, not by external force.

Being utilitarian may be a method / skill for Sayuri to survive, but this can easily gaining enemies. Then she needs a way to survive. More like a vicious cycle.
Sayuri and Eren are completely opposite in their characters, yet they know each other (including their characteristic problems) I am looking forward seeing how they live together in the USA. (There are hints showcasing in the ED)

From my observation, Eren is somewhat fitting the stereotypical autistic character. Highly focus, not good at social, high talent in a particular field.
Describing Akari is similar to her is a bit odd to me. Akari is more on Narcissistic Personality Disorder to me. (I am not in any psychological field, I just get to know a shallow knowledge about psychology) Telling me they are similar is basically telling me that they are both falling into some kind of psychological disorder.

I know in Japanese society it is very important to work as a group, should not be very distinctive, which makes people like Eren and Akari very difficult fitting into the Japanese ecosystem. What I see is that Akari is pretty much able to adapt that being unique atmosphere. Yet, she wants someone understand her, which is also a normal behavior for a human being.

This is a very unique perspective to view on two distinct yet similar people in some sense. However, working in art related field must encounter these type of people as these people are actually the major contributor in the art industry and this is undeniable.
